Centinel Metering, a division of Cerro EMS (part of the Marmon Group - a Berkshire Hathaway company), is pleased to announce today (24/11/2015) that their Low Pressure Gas Meter Installation Kits have achieved National Grid Standard PRS41.

Since the launch of Centinel Metering in 2014 the team have moved at an accelerated pace as engagement and demand from major players responsible for Meter Assets continues to grow. Their focus on superior products and exceptional quality has paid dividends.  Their latest achievement, PRS41, is the National Grid Standard for fully assembled low pressure domestic meter installation kits.

Centinel meter kits use the Shavo Norgren domestic regulator which is the most compact regulator in the UK providing totally reliable performance.

April 2015 was a key milestone in their journey where major investment was made in a 'state of the art' assembly & pressure testing facility.

This new facility is specifically designed to handle the high volume production of fully assembled gas meter kits, all 100% tested, whilst ensuring complete control of product quality and reliability to their customers.

“We are extremely proud to be the ‘first’ to achieve the PRS41 standard. We know high quality assembled kits and components make for easier installations and fewer maintenance revisits, just one reason why our customers are looking for guaranteed quality and reliability from our gas meter installation kits. As such we have invested in the very latest technology to ensure we deliver over and above industry requirements.” Mark Jones, Operations Director.
