Centinel hosted 3 successful open days between 9th and 11th of February, showcasing their new single-piece flow assembly facility.
In addition attendees viewed:
- A full overview of what Centinel can offer the UK gas industry.
- A demonstration of how their end-to-end solution, innovative approach and focus on quality provides operational and financial to the whole supply chain.
- To see their unique Gas Meter Installation Kits which recently met the highest industry standard - PRS41.
In attendance were a number of prominent utility based companies. The event was a great success said Sales Manager Chris OSullivan. We saw significant interest as well as open discussions where we expect to win new business.
Following huge interest and growing demand from the Gas Distribution Network, Centinel Metering, a division of Cerro EMS, is pleased to announce further investment in their innovative Smart Meter Installation Kits with the launch of their single-piece flow manufacturing cells.
Now fully functional and operational, the new cells have been designed and installed to increase their Smart Meter Installation Kit output capacity meeting growing market demand.
The single-piece flow process and cellular layout have been adopted to eliminate waste and ensure the highest product quality, helping Centinel achieve true just-in-time production for their customers - the right parts are available when needed in the exact quantity required.
The new facility has been specifically designed to handle high volume production with each and every Stage 1 and Stage 2 Installation Kit being 100% tested with complete batch traceability.
